Artists in Residence Program | Mornington Peninsula Hot Springs

Written by Amelia | 10 September 2025

at Peninsula Hot Springs, we believe originality thrives in the natural environment, where creatives come together to become inspired by nature

Our Artist in Residence Program is guided by creativity, one of our seven core wellness pillars, and reflects our commitment to nurturing expression as a pathway to connection, wellbeing, and innovation.

Through our Arts, Culture and Events initiatives, we celebrate the power of creativity not only to enrich the guest experience but also to ignite fresh ideas, inspire collaboration, and foster a deeper sense of community. By embracing cross-cultural exchange and contemporary practice, we create space for art to thrive while strengthening the link between personal wellbeing and collective cultural vitality.

The Artist in Residence program offers musicians and artists a retreat from routine, providing a unique chance to immerse themselves in nature, reconnect with inspiration, and explore new creative outputs through sound and art. Designed to support original creators from the Mornington Peninsula, Melbourne, and across Victoria, the program welcomes artists from diverse genres and backgrounds to spend dedicated time within our distinctive environment. Each residency becomes an exchange between art and place, producing works that carry the artist’s voice while reflecting the essence of the springs.

Since its inception in 2021, the program has continued to grow in scale and ambition. What began as a series of intimate week-long residencies has expanded to welcome a wide and evolving community of contemporary creators. Each has left a lasting imprint by way of new compositions, performances, and stories that embody the healing of combination creativity and nature.
